Cookie Settings Explained
The ledger’s reading and message features do not need advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can retain information for a website between visits. Both can be used for preferences or tracking, depending on how they are implemented.
What the ledger’s own code uses
The editorial pages and their navigation, reveal animations and contact tool do not set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. They do not load analytics, advertising or social-media tracking code. There are no optional tracking features in these page scripts to enable.

Browser caching and form assistance
Your browser may cache page files to improve loading and may offer autofill or restore form entries. These are browser behaviours rather than tracking features added by the ledger. You can manage them in your browser’s privacy, history, autofill and site-data settings.
Deleting cookies alone does not remove a downloaded message or text already copied to a clipboard manager. Delete those separately where necessary, particularly on a shared device.
External destinations
Source links lead to external websites only when you follow them. Those sites may use their own cookies, consent controls and privacy notices. Their practices are not controlled by zandumiventur.forum. A source link is not an embedded tracker or an endorsement of every practice at the destination.
Managing your browser
You can inspect or clear site data through your browser settings and choose whether websites may store cookies. Blocking browser storage does not prevent the ledger’s own reading features from working. Disabling JavaScript removes the mobile menu interaction and contact tools; the written content and email address remain available.
